Perry and I (Brooke) met during Cru's Headquarters Internship program in Orlando, FL in August 2020. Perry was serving as an intern with Jesus Film Project, while I was serving on Cru's U.S. Communications team. The intern program consisted of 14 post-college young professionals, eager to gain experience personally, professionally, and spiritually. Perry and I began getting to know each other, along with the other 12 interns, and clicked right away as friends. Over the course of the first two months of the program, we continued getting to know each other and eventually decided we'd like to begin dating. We dated for a little over a year when Perry proposed in Orlando on November 6th, 2021. We got married on June 10th, 2022, and are not only adjusting to marriage but support raising to return to our roles at Cru's HQ soon.
